What’s this? A play reading!?

Hello internets!

I’m self promoting!

This year we are putting on a play for the Sydney Fringe Festival. It is awesome. The play is called Rope Burn. It’s written by me. And on THIS FRIDAY (the 20th) I’m putting on a super special sneaky reading of the play!
It’ll be on at 23 Playfair St, The Rocks (it’s about 50 metres from the Lowenbrau pub) and entry is 5 dollars (which just covers rent).

Here is a Facebook event!

And here is a description of the play!

What does it mean to be a friend? From the devious mind of Australian playwright Ava Karuso comes a dark comedy about friendship, boys and one of humanity’s most frightening diseases. Michael has been diagnosed with cancer, but it’s not the end of the world. Well, it might be, for Michael anyway. For Ben it’s a struggle to support his mate, to stay a real man and to decide whether a Filipino mail-order bride might actually a good idea in this circumstance.

If you want to give feedback on the script or if you just like to hang, there will be time afterwards. Perhaps time to go to the aforementioned Lowenbrau for beer and wurst.

See you there kind people!
